Katie Mueller Well. My ex husband's dad's family, as well as a college ex boyfriend's mom's family, all came from Stanton, so lots to do by way of visiting there. Eat at Bruin's, which has, no lie, the BEST coconut cream pie I've ever had in my life. That's all I got, AND I beat Travis. Woo!

Katie Mueller Is Miguel's in Powell County? I guess I thought it was in Lee or Menifee. Add that, if that's the case. I also know am not confident about Sky Bridge Station-if it's in Powell, definitely add it. I, personally, think RRG should be all lumped together so I don't have to keep these things apart. And yes-Red River Rockhouse is to die for.

Travis M. Scott Katie, I think Slade is in Powell County. It's somewhere close to the Wolfe County border, but I don't think Wolfe County begins until the ridgeline.

Katie Mueller No way. It'd be me pushing for more farm-to-table higher-end organic eateries, a full brewery using spring water from RRG, more camping/climbing/hiking tourism stuff, a way improved, kind of fancy drive/camp-in movie theater set up, a nature photography residency program... I've got that whole thing figured out. Selfishly, the best part is I get to schlepp around the woods with my kid, my dog, and David drinking craft beer and yapping about how great Kentucky is while ruling this domain. Mueller for Mayor of RRG County.

Katie Mueller Also. Lee County really could get in on the action. They're wet, for starters, and could capitalize off of that if they had food worth driving for. Lots of gorgeous woods there, too, good climbing and loads of space for cabin building type folks to take advantage of.

Josie L Hollon I have to say, our county has some of the best places to visit and developing more locations. Miguel's Pizza, Bruins and Hillbilly Cafe are just a few of the local food, we do need to go wet so the craft beer can start, like now. Red River Museum is a great location for some background history (we are having a Pioneer Craft Day Nov 1 so don't forget to come join us). Pilot Knob were Daniel Boone saw the bluegrass is a little jewel of a location if you have not seen it. Mt. View Drive Inn is a great place to watch a movie under the stars in the summer. We also have music in the Stanton City Park and the local talent is awesome.

Jeff Noble Miguel's is in Powell County by about 1 1/2 miles north of the Wolfe line on KY11. It is where I have and will eat.

Katie Mueller Well. First I have to get the Commonwealth to collectively agree on a consolidation of a few particular counties. That...that may take a minute. After that, residency and a filing. Check.

Jeff Noble If you know where the dam is on KY11 for Mill Creek Lake, that's where the county line crosses in a straight line. I'd have to go see Tony Ball for starters.
