422. Happy Birthday Rob


December 13, 2008 would have been the 35th birthday of my friend Rob. Rob died in a motorcycle wreck on July 24, 1991, at the age of 17, or 17 1/2. It has been about 17 1/2 years since his passing. I often think of him. He has now been gone for as long as he was alive.

Happy Birthday Rob.

Graduate of Prestonia Elementary, Durrett High, and Spalding University; the first two now-closed Jefferson County Public Schools, the latter a very small liberal arts college in downtown Louisville affiliated with the Roman Catholic Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.
