SB-29. Cumberland County
#29
is CUMBERLAND COUNTY (county seat is Burkesville, named for the
Cumberland River which was named for either Duke of Cumberland or
Cumberland County, England). Where do you eat and who do you want to
visit? #KY120Game — with Charlotte Flanary and 16 others.

- Matt Osborne I can't say that I've spent too much time in Burkesville. The state park is one of the nicer ones and has great trails and golf. The only time that I have ever eaten there is running up the hill into town to pick up a pizza from Pizza Hut while fishing the Cumberland River.
- Marc Wilson I'm definitely popping by DLW's pool house to restock the traveling bar in the rally van. Remember that Julie Raque Adams, Ryan Hambleton, Mike Reynard?
- Jeff Noble Cumberland - not on my regular path at all. A note about the name which is probably the most historic name of any county or any other place name anywhere in the Republic. It dates back to at least 945 (1069 years ago) when a part of England known by this name was ceded over to Scotland. It is related to the Welsh word Cymri, the name by which the Welsh call themselves, a word which dates at least to 633.
- Travis M. Scott My only experience in Cumberland County was when I was about 3 and my family vacationed at Dale Hollow and I was charged at by a goat chained to a van, then fell asleep on a piece of plywood.
- Katie Mueller I have been to Dale Hollow-one summer in college, to be specific. Gonna leave it at that.
