#97 is SHELBY COUNTY (named for Isaac Shelby; county seat is Shelbyville). Where do you eat & who do you visit? ‪#‎KY120Game‬

I went out of order today because Isaac Shelby is a distant relative to my close friend Brian Beam, and it's Brian's birthday. Kentucky's first and fifth governor is Brian's 5th great grandfather.

Charlotte Flanary Shelby County.........hmm. Of course you have Claudia Sander's Dinner House and Science Hill Inn and the Old Stone Inn in Simpsonville. For simpler fare, Carriss's Grocery is way out in the country but they have the best hamburgers EVER!

Ashlea Elaine Christiansen You can visit wit Hoppy Bennett and take a free tour of Undulata (a gorgeous saddlebred horse training farm), visit the Andriot family at the historic Bell House Restaurant, or even shop the new outlet mall in Simpsonville! My home county and I LOVE it!! :))

Jeff Noble Where to start? Better yet, where to end! My grave plot is in Beech Ridge Cemetery (between Graefenburg and Hatton) with a bunch of relatives so at some point you all can come visit me. I have many cousins and many friends (Steve C., Debra, Ann, Fielding, Austin, Scott, Elaine, Tyler, the Humphries, and a few more), and one "ex." And my Crab Orchard Road story (mentioned in an earlier county and conveyed to Elizabeth just two nights ago) begins in Shelby.

Ann Ellerkamp Sorry I suggest all Democrats boycott the Bell House. Mr. Andriot is very out spoken regarding the Fairness Ordinance. I will never go there again as long as he refuses giving all citizens in Shelbyville rights!!!

Ann Ellerkamp Science Hill is the best in Shelby County and the best brunch in Kentucky. I also enjoy going to McKinley ' s . I love taking drives around Shelby County. Love the names of the roads.

Austin Redmon Far and above all the others you have to visit B&N Food Market in Bagdad so you can get a world famous "Newt Burger". This local specialty is named after the founder of B&N and unofficial Mayor of Bagdad. If you're not in the mood for a burger then it's hard to go wrong with a freshly sliced country ham sandwich the likes of which will have you ready to relocate to the countryside of my hometown Bagdad.
