Matt Osborne I would like to start by pointing out the fact that Boyle is the finest of all the counties. I should probably go see my grandmother, but since I'm a jerk, I'm going fishing with Lee and Charlie Boyd. I'm getting a country ham sandwich at the Battlefield Marathon station in Perryville, I took Sara there on one of our first dates...I'm such a romantic guy.

John David Herald Although it closed this year, a Lee Burger with tater tots at Spivey's was an institution in itself. Followed by a 32oz Mr Pibb at the The Warehouse on campus.

Travis M. Scott I've never eaten in Boyle County. In 2007, however, while putting signs up in front of the Norton Center before the debate between Gov. Beshear and then-Gov. Fletcher, I did rip out the seat of my pants, only to turn and find Gov. Beshear laughing at my predicament.

Julie Springate You definitely need to stop by Centre College and go to Burke's Bakery! As far as restaurants, Guadalajara is a student favorite, and the depot in Stanford (Lincoln county-15 minutes away) is delicious!!

Marc Wilson VEEP debate 2000. Was working advance for W and Chaney. My lead advance an old timer who had been advancing since Nixon imported a liquor store to the Danville Holiday Inn Express. Told me if I wanted to work in this advance game I needed to learn to drink scotch. So I tried it then said "if I need to drink this to be in this game I quit!" Still hate Scotch.

Les Fugate Boyle County has produced some of the greatest scholars and leaders this world has ever known! Am I right Sara Luna Osborne, John David Herald, and Matt Osborne? There is a fancy restaurant on 3rd or 4th street that seems to change names every year that is good. The new BBQ joint is delicious per NYT's Jonathan Martin who visited there on Saturday. I just wish Freddie's was still open. Amazing little Italian joint.

Sara Luna Osborne Les, Freddie's is back in a new location. We haven't been, but I imagine its a little different than the hole in the wall that only took cash when we were in college.

Jeff Noble Visits to Boyle have been to friends at Centre over the years, or hiking at the Perryville Battlefield, or to wonder at the geology of the Parksville and Mitchellsburg knobs, two of Kentucky's highest elevations outside of the mountains. Burke's Bakery is the only food place which comes to mind but I am not much of a sweets-eater. The old Elmwood Inn Tea Room was an interesting place to visit in the '90s and early '00s. My new source of political information in Boyle is Jordan Shewmaker.

David Miller Bluegrass Pizza and Pub!!! Awesome local place that grows most of the ingredients for their pizza, and always has a terrific choice of craft brews on tap!
