781. Come, October, make us whole.

Of Septembers past I've complained but small
Some bad, most good, oft middlin' be.
But this one ending here today
I'll say "be gone, be gone" from me.
Come, October, come quite soon
Come, October, soothe our soul.
Come, October, be welcome moon
Come, October, make us whole.

Order in the Blog!

Ok, we'll call it an editor's error.  Somehow I managed to get the entries from SB-69 to SB-88 out of order.  Mea culpa, mea culpa.  The next one will be SB-89.  I'll try to keep them straight as we enter the final 32 counties in Sherman's Kentucky County Experience.

SB-77. Magoffin County. See Entry No. 777 for an explanation.

#77 is MAGOFFIN COUNTY (named for KY's 21st Governor Beriah Magoffin; the county seat is Salyersville). Where do you want to eat & who do you visit? ‪#‎KY120Game‬
— with Jared Smith and 18 others.

SB-88. Morgan County.

#88 is MORGAN COUNTY (named for VA Congressman Daniel Morgan; county seat is West Liberty). Where do you eat & who do you visit? ‪#‎KY120Game‬
— with Jared Smith and 18 others.

SB-87. Montgomery County. (See Entry #777 for an explanation).

#87 is MONTGOMERY COUNTY (named for Gen. Richard Montgomery; county seat is Mount Sterling). Where do you eat & who do you visit? ‪#‎KY120Game‬
— with Jared Smith and 18 others.

Personal

Louisville, Kentucky, United States
Never married, liberal Democrat, born in 1960, opinionated but generally pleasant, member of the Episcopal Church. Graduate of Prestonia Elementary, Durrett High, and Spalding University; the first two now-closed Jefferson County Public Schools, the latter a very small liberal arts college in downtown Louisville affiliated with the Roman Catholic Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. My vocation and avocation is politics. My favorite pastime is driving the backroads of Kentucky and southern Indiana, visiting small towns, political hangouts, courthouses, churches, and cemeteries. You are welcome to ride with me sometime.
