- Rick Masters and 2 others like this.
- Sherman A. Brown I'm beginning to think no one playing this game has been to Lyon County...
I haven't been there since 2006, but Willow Pond Restaurant is great for fried catfish. http://www.willowpondcatfishrestaurant.com/contact.html
The easiest way to contact us, for any reason, is to call the restauraunt during business hours. Our phone number is...willowpondcatfishrestaurant.com - Kathy Jo Stubblefield I go to Lyon County regularly - just been busy with other things this morning.
I'd call Kay McCollum and Judi Stone and we'd go eat fish at Willow Pond. - Jordon Wadlington Not too many places, but the absolute best is the Mexican restaurant in Eddyville. If you're looking for a Chili's/TGIFridays equivalent, you could Oasis Grill in Kuttawa.
- Sara Luna Osborne The only place I've eaten in Eddyville is at the State Penitentiary. I don't recommend it as a tourist destination though it is a cool old castle looking place.
- Sherman A. Brown After 72 counties, Sara has earned my favorite response with the one above. There have been many that made me chuckle or reminisce, but "I don't recommend it (the state pen) as a tourist destination," is awesome!
- Jared Smith HB's in Kuttawa on the marina is Matt Erwin favorite place to socialize with the locals. Right, Justice Heltzel and Justin Thurman ???
- Randy Reese Willow Pond is a awsome place to eat and the prison is pretty cool to look at from a fishing boat
- Jeff Noble Lyon is on the way to Marshall which is on the way to Fancy Farm, so I do drive through it now and then. Lyon's county seat has a unique distinction among Kentucky's county seats.
- Sara Luna Osborne Sherman, working at the Justice Cabinet has it's perks. Fine eateries and tourist destinations are not one of them, but you do get to know KY in a unique way. Only convicted criminals and select special folk can truly appreciate it.
