SB-55. Jefferson County.
#55
is JEFFERSON COUNTY (named for President Thomas Jefferson; county seat
is Louisville). Where do you eat & who do you visit with? #KY120Game — with Charlotte Flanary and 17 others.
- You, Nancy Henry and 8 others like this.
- Julia Bright Crigler Julie Raque Adams and wild eggs or north end cafe or village anchor...i'm on a brunch kick!
- Matt Osborne Too many people to see and too many great places to eat. Certainly Proof for Duncan's sausage.
- Katie Mueller I don't think fb will allow me to tag all the folks I'd tag. Food-that I can narrow down a little. Decca, de la Torre, Milkwood, Safier, Ramsey's...the list goes on.
- Colmon Elridge Way too many people to name but my in laws and Victoria 's family and eat at Barbara Lee's Kitchen on Brownsboro road, WW Cousin's, and Highland Morning's.
- Travis M. Scott So many good places to go, things to do, fun to be had, friends to see, it's not possible to list them all. But seriously, where's Jackson County?
- Charlotte Flanary Patrick, Jessika, my grandchildren, Bill, Jeff, Queenie, Jim, Lindsay, Allie, Allison, Katie, Matt, Shermie, Skipper........good Heavens! I thought rather than be like everyone else and say there were too many to mention I would give it a shot. This is only the tip of the iceberg and what a tip they are.
- Wes Wright Too many great places to eat. Speaking as a visitor, since Lynn's and Third Avenue Cafe have closed, Ramsi's is at the top of my list. Too many others to list. Must visit: Michael Downey, his huzzbin&my cousin JohnPaul, and PD. Lots of others to visit too.
- Sherman A. Brown Morgan Miller wins the game!
Travis M. Scott - User Error. I am still learning the alphabet. - Rachel Ford Favorite pizza...Bonnie & Clyde's, favorite breakfast...Wild Eggs, Other fun places...Iroquois Park, Big 4 Bridge, Ky Center, Louisville Bats, Fairgrounds, Bardstown Rd. and many more. Very proud of my county and all that it provides.
- Holly Lynn Harris Call up Julie Denton or Julie Raque Adams, two of my favorite Lville women who know all the best spots. 'Tis the season...so stop by the State Fair for some REALLY healthy fair food and hit the rides (maybe not in that order) and then go hang out with Matt Erwin and Alex Erwin on their back porch. If you are sick from Fair food, Dr. Alex will know what to do.
- Matt Erwin I'm just gonna stay home that day and have a nice dinner at home. I'm tired of all this traveling.
- Brandy Bailey Way too many people to see. Elizabeth Sawyer and Virginia Woodward are just two that come to mind. And of course my sister.
- J Scott Wantland Is taking Hunter S Thompson to the Bristol an option? What about a bucket of chicken with Colonel?
- Jeff Noble I'd listen to Elizabeth Sawyer (which I do most everyday), Chris Poynter, Chris Hartman, Sherman A. Brown, Bill Ryan, Jim King, Daniel Borsch, and a few others. I do not cook so I regularly frequent several places to eat, to wit, Ramsi's Cafe on the World, North End Cafe, Gavi's Restaurant, Bristol Bar & Grille, Burger Boy Diner, Cunninghams Creekside and the one on 4th Street, Checks Cafe, Mike Linnig's Restaurant, ice cream at The Comfy Cow on Frankfort Avenue, Sunergos on Preston Street for coffee, and Nord's Bakery, next door to Sunergos, for the best doughnuts in Louisville - take it from a baker's grandson.
- Jeff Noble David, as a resident of the East Market Street Corridor - whence comest NuLu - I allow visitors from foreign and exotic places the opportunity of a seat at our places of repast and refreshment. I do like Garage Bar, not so much your other offering.
- Jeff Noble Confession: for the life of me today, I could not place either Jackson County or its seat of government, McKee, which was hugely embarrassing for me. Luckily no one except Elizabeth Sawyer is aware of my lapse. Final thought: if Mayor Abramson were following, he would let you know County #56 should be alphabetized under the L's and not the J's.
- Sherman A. Brown You should all visit my friend Danny Mac's Pizza the next time you get up here. Good pizza in Germantown area!
